Here's a piece for G-1 Jetfire that was originally commissioned for the TF Genesis artbook back in 2002. I did the pen and inks, and Hi-Fi studio did a BEAUTIFUL job on the colors. (Really some of the best surprises happen when the colorists far exceed your expectations and make your work look much better than you'd hope)
The piece was originally put up online as a teaser pic, but got a bit of scrunity from the fellas who own Robotech, so to avoid any legal complications, it was dropped from the book before it went to print. It's a real shame as it's one of my fav. pieces that I did for the book. Ah well, enjoy! |
